"Do not repay evil with evil, do what is good for everyone" (Rom 12:17)
Human beings are created in accordance with the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:26) In addition, human beings were created as social beings who can not live alone and isolated. As social human beings must interact with others in the community ties.
Sow-reap law will naturally experienced by Christians who live in the leadership of the Holy Spirit. The man who sowed the seeds of hatred one day later will reap the results of hatred. The man who sowed the seeds of love will soon be reaping the love and joy and peace.
Most people in this world repay kindness with kindness and evil with evil. But as Christians we are required to repay evil with good (Rom 12:17) that makes our life peaceful and prosperous. We do not need to remember mistakes, crimes, injustice, dishonesty, deceit and evil deeds of others. What we need to remember that the person is a creation of God and God created day and night, heat and rain just for the good and the bad guys.
In our country there is a lot of human tragedy and only love and sacrifice of Christ who can solve problems like this. In this country we find a lot of smart people, titled the many, many rich people, people rank a lot, but looking for generous people who rarely encountered. As someone who was robbed in the middle of the road between Jerusalem and Jericho, a priest over there, he ignored it. Through all the Levites he ignored these people. Though both men are religious Jews, the sacred scribes smart and rich. While the Samaritans who are considered low among the heathen, and have precisely humane compassion (Luke 10:25-37) We bear witness to others not only with words but with deeds. Indeed we act to prepare the way for our oral testimony.
We should not also act as scribes who wanted to justify himself and asked him who is my neighbor? (Luke 10:29) Jesus said clearly that the issue is not who my neighbor? But to whom we may become fellow human beings? Let us do good for God still gives us the opportunity to do so.
Those who can not forgive others destroys the bridge in its path. Hatred / resentment is not hurting people you do not like, but every day and every night in your life, the feeling that you are the soul. (Norman Vincent Peale)
